Open To Contributions

In my Introduction post I’ve mentioned that United Bloggers of Arabia needs contributors for it to be what it’s supposed to be. Again, I don’t expect bloggers to abandon their blogs to contribute to mine, on the contrary, having them guest post here from time to time is going to help them to reach out to more readers, promote their current blogs and establish their names as bloggers.

How will you be able to contribute to United Bloggers of Arabia?

1- I’ll send you an invitation to register at the blog.

If you’re a current WordPress user, you won’t need to register. If not, you’ll have the choice of whether you’d like to register for a blog or only a username. If you already have a blog, then registering for a username only is your option.

2- You’ll be given a role. There are three roles:
Contributor: You’ll be able to write your post, just like you would normally do on your own blog. The post won’t be published till after I’ve reviewed it and approved it.
Author: You’ll have complete control over your posts. You’ll be able to write your post, publish it and delete it. You’ll also be able to upload files.
Editor: As an editor, you’ll have power over your own posts and others as well. You’ll also be able to edit comments, manage categories, upload files and edit links.

3- You will start as a contributor, the more you participate in the blog and the more you’re willing to commit to this project, the higher you’ll position will go.

I’ve been in touch with few great bloggers and things are looking up

Thanks in advance to anyone who’s agreed to be part of this and who’s considering being part of this. Also, thanks to whoever decided to stick around as readers, even though you still don’t know whether we’re going to suck or rock. I guess there’s going to be plenty of time to back off later, eh?
